The 8 at Tool will be a community gathering place for everyone. Features will include an amphitheater for events, a walking/jogging figure eight, a splash pad and unique play area for kids that will incorporate music, climbing, nets, and more. There will be numerous other areas such as a Veterans’ Memorial, Botanical Gardens, Butterfly Garden, Mural Wall, Dog Park, Fishing Pond with Pier and Benches throughout the park along with Picnic Tables with a Food Truck Court.  The 8 at Tool will truly be a destination for the entire family.

It is with great pride that the Governing Body of the City of Tool announces that On May 27th 2021, the City received a 1.5 million dollar grant for the development of a City Park. 
The grant is a 50/50 match which means the City’s cost will be $750,000 and the grant will match that dollar for dollar.
This park will provide the city’s growing population with a quality gathering space that will caters to all generations and will greatly complement the livability of the city.
The City is hosting a Gala Fundraiser event to help raise funds for it’s portion of the match.
