The purpose of the Code Enforcement Officer is to protect the health, safety and welfare of the people by ensuring the health and welfare of the city from a code compliance standpoint is maintained. The Code Enforcement Officer is a front-facing position with citizens, providing guidance to help the city maintain an overall healthy image. This position reports directly to the Building Official.
