Building & Code Department

The Building and Code Enforcement Department provides public safety by enforcing Municipal and State regulations and codes relative to the construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, removing, demolition, conversion, occupancy, equipment, use, height, area and maintenance of all buildings or structures in the City.

Commercial inspections and plan reviews are subcontracted through licensed inspectors at Bureau Veritas.
